Threadbare HQ are in utter lust for the entire Athens-born designer, Mary Katrantzou, Fall 2012 collection. Injections of her signature surrealist prints with a bit of bold angularity with structured silhouettes and nipped in waists – supreme Fall perfection.
When asked by London Fashion week what her 3 Autumn/Winter 2012 inspirations were she replied, “Still life, crayon box and Victoriana.”
Katrantzou’s trademark piece is “A dress inspired by the filtered beauty in design, mapped around the female figure.” With collections that are always full of life encompassing Digitized geometric patterns and futuristic grid prints, we can’t see the Mary Katrantzou brand dropping out of the spotlight any time soon – we can’t wait for Spring/Summer!
